SUMMARY:6th Annual Kamloops Kamping Trip
DESCRIPTION:NSRide is hosting its sixth annual CAMPING TRIP!!!  Once again
\, we have secured the group campsite at Paul Lake Provincial Park for the
weekend of June 26-28.  We actually have it booked until the 29th\, so a
nyone who can take the day off on Monday are welcome to stay.\n\nThe group
campsite is conveniently located at the bottom of the shuttle road for th
e Harper Mountain trail  network.  This weekend is a ton of fun and a bi
t different than what you normally expect from an NSRide event. We will no
t have “official” club rides this weekend.  Instead\, we will gather
as like-minded mountain bikers in an awesome location and spend the weeken
d riding bikes.\n\nHarper has a great climbing trail for those who want to
pedal.  It can also be easily shuttled with multiple vehicles.  Please
note\, higher clearance vehicles are needed to get to the VERY top\, but 9
0% of the mountain can be shuttled with any vehicle.  The trails are grea
t for riders of various skill levels to ride together without anyone waiti
ng too long or feeling pressed to keep up.\n\nAll attendees of the Kamloop
s Kamping Trip who plan to ride bikes must be NSRide Members.  At minimum
\, one member of each party needs to be a full member\, but significant ot
hers or friends are welcome to attend the trip with a guest pass.  Dogs a
re also welcome and don’t need a guest pass (because they are awesome).\
 n\nDate:          Friday\, June 26 – Monday June 29\n\nLocation:
Paul Lake Groupsite.  Paul Lake Road\, Kamloops\, BC\n\nWhat is includ
ed:\n\n 2 or 3 nights stay at Paul Lake Group Campground.  Great if you
can stay until Monday\, but at least there is no pressure to pack up early
on Sunday\n Price is $40 per tent\, rooftop tent or RV\, based on single
occupancy.  If your significant other or friends will be staying in the
same tent\, rooftop tent or RV as you\, an additional $15 per person will
apply.  Please select from the options above.\n Good times with like-min
ded mountain bikers in an awesome corner of the province\n\nImportant Note
s:\n\n At least one member of each party must be a full NSRide Member.
Significant others or a couple friends are welcome to join a full member a
s long as they have (at minimum) a one week guest pass valid for the dates
of the event.  The guest pass is needed for insurance\, so if your signi
ficant other is NOT riding bikes\, no guest pass is required.\n The Paul
Lake Group Campground is in a remote location with no cell reception.  Ce
ll reception is a 5-7 minute drive up the road. \n There is a hand pump
on site for water\, but it often has a boil water advisory.  It is stron
gly recommended that you bring enough drinking water for the weekend. \n
There is a large covered cooking shelter and and pit toilets on site.\n\n
The campground is a 20 minute drive from Kamloops.  There are no restau
rants nearby.\n All attendees must be self sufficient for camping\, cooki
 ng\, etc\n
